Made this quick & dirty chart that ranks the top 20 NCAA wrestling programs broken out by weight class, with data from the excellent AWP.
AWP ranked each weight class 1-33. I then scored each wrestler from 1-33, with 1st being worth 33 pts, 2nd 32, etc. No true frosh were included in AWP’s ranking so no Snyder at 197 for Ohio State for example.
Be sure to check out the AWP site for more details on each weight class. And remember this is just a very early snap shot of the NCAAs, there is a long to go before March and quite a lot can and will change.
